Spring Fever

I think Spring Fever has offically engulfed me, and gave me a whallop! The weather is light, airy, soft, refreshing. The skies are blue, clear and dreamy. I don’t feel like moving out of my chair. I just want to take it all in. It seems to be the slowest Monday, perhaps because I would rather be outside. I feel lackadaisical. I’m not sure where this post is going. I just know it’s not going back to those cold, rainy or snowy, shortened days. This post is just existing, easy going, with the spring tide.

I've enjoyed writing since the first grade, since my aunt gave me a journal so long ago to write in. Now I write to enjoy the moments. I write to stretch and share my thoughts. I write to connect and find calm. Raising three kids, three rabbits and two cats, with a school social work career, I need the daily refuge writing offers. The simple reflections allow for an abundance of memories to the hurried pace of life.
